Yukiharu Yorifuji is Group Director for IDC’s Japan IT Services, Communications and IPDS Research Group. In this role, Yorifuji oversees the management of four IDC Japan continuous intelligence services (CISs) including Japan Services (and its subsets – Japan IT Services Opportunities and Contenders and Japan Outsourcing), Japan Services Market Transformation.
Yorifuji’s primary responsibility includes the analysis of market trends and dynamics, vendor competitive landscape, and user demand of the Japan IT services and business services industry. In addition, he is also engaged in the research of enterprises’ organization, talent management, and selection of the partners in Digital Transformation era, and introduces these results via reports and presentations.
He has over 25 years experience in the IT industry in various roles including sales, marketing, and market analyst. Prior to joining IDC Japan, Yorifuji worked for a local consulting firm responsible for strategic projects including new business planning, corporate governance, and financial strategy for large companies. He also worked for Fujitsu where he was involved in international sales, marketing, and brand management.
He holds a BA from Department of Social Science and MBA from International Corporate Strategy, from Hitotsubashi University, Japan. |
